Absolutely adore Glossier and their almost magical makeup effect—it screams gorgeous glow! However, it’s no secret some products fall short or aren’t quite worth the splurge. That’s why I’ve scoured for the best Glossier dupes, especially for their beloved skin tint.
Craving that celebrity-like, flawless skin without breaking the bank? I’ve got you covered with seven incredible alternatives that match (or outshine) the original. Ready for a wallet-friendly beauty upgrade?
But first, why do I love or hate Glossier skin tint?
Even though I’m a die-hard makeup fanatic, I don’t really like foundations for everyday use. It’s either concealers or skin tints like this one that make my skin look glowy, fresh, and naturally healthy without even feeling like I had something on.
But I think Glossier CEO took “I had something on my face” way too seriously, lol. Not only it has quite a small quantity for a huge price, but its coverage is so darn sheer that it sometimes feels utterly useless. This is why I’m not really a fan of it.
And why do I need to care when I can have these awesome Glossier skin tint dupes from the drugstore and the cruelty-free shelf, huh?
Let’s get these 7 best Glossier skin tint dupes instead!
1. The ordinary serum foundation – my fav
When I first got my hands on this godsend foundation, I knew instantly it’d be my go-to! But it took me merely 10 seconds to realize that this is a way better dupe for the Glossier skin tint than the skin tint itself.
Not only does it come in 21 shades to choose from, but its light-as-air formula ensures that your look stays natural and airy. Plus, it provides a little better coverage than Glossier skin tint thanks to its weightless serum base.
I can make it work and blend it out for a sheer natural finish and then layer for when I get blemishes due to breakouts – impressive for a product at such an affordable price!
Also, it has never looked cakey or felt heavy on my skin. And did I tell you that it comes with SPF 15 as well? I think The Ordinary serum foundation is the perfect vegan and cruelty-free Glossier skin tint dupe and will definitely help your skin look its best with plenty of hydration and long-lasting wear!
2. Undone beauty unfoundation glow tint
Let me remind you that Undone Beauty’s concealer is also a Glossier dupe for its stretch concealer, and it gives me no shock that this glow tint is a great skin tint dupe as well.
But talking about this foundation tint, IDK how to tell you that you’ll love love love its texture, comfort, and especially the glowy, dewy look that replicates your beloved skin tint incredibly well.
This fabulous product boasts lots of natural oils and extracts like coconut oil and vitamin E that work together to give your complexion an effortless boost without clogging up pores.
On top of that, their light reflective pigments create a luminous glow that looks so real that people will never guess it was makeup 😉 Oh, it’s also vegan and cruelty-free just in case!
Merge it well to make it look like a Glossier skin tint dupe, and add on a subtle layer if you’d like the coverage with a glow.
3. Neutrogena hydro boost hydrating tint
If you don’t already know, I am an embarrassing Neutrogena hoarder. I just don’t have it in me to get by the aisle without picking up any Neutrogena products, lol. And one such product that I love and maybe obsessed with is this hydrating tint.
Featuring hyaluronic acid, this hydrating tint gives even coverage while keeping your skin moisturized and plump literally all day long. But what I love the most about it is its oil-free, non-comedogenic, and supremely lightweight formulation that gives an illusion of Glossier skin tint but better.
Not to forget, the radiant glow and 10 shades are just the cherries on the cake!
4. Lottie London velvet skin tint
Easily one of the best Glossier skin tint dupes, you’ve found your way to barely-there coverage at a steal price!
It has the same luminous finish and lightweight feel as Glossier without breaking the bank. Plus, thanks to its buildable coverage, you can customize your look however you want – just like Glossier!
And of course, the hyaluronic acid and coconut water extracts make it super nourishing and hydrating. That being said, there sure is a tiny difference if that doesn’t bother you. Lottie London’s tint has a matte finish as compared to the satin of Glossier’s tint.
5. Covergirl clean fresh skin milk
Okay, hold your horses if you have already tried this product, but if you haven’t, hear me out for a quick second.
I know there has been a LOT of talk going around about how people absolutely hate it, but I think it works just fine. At least just like skin tint, if not better. It has a liquid formulation like that of milk mixed with a little foundation.
It blends well with my oily skin really well to give a very sheer coverage but mind you that it is NOT fo dry skin types. It just won’t work and you’ll hate it.
6. morphe 2 hint hint skin tint
The Morphe 2 Hint Hint Skin Tint is a serious dupe for the increasingly popular Glossier skin tint! Not only is it cheaper, but it also has similar shades (more so like 20 shades) and consistency.
What’s even more amazing about this product, though? Its bendability! Seriously, you can spread this stuff like butter, taking you from easy, breezy natural to a “gorgeous trending glow” in no time flat!
Beyond the looks, its formula keeps skin moisturized without feeling heavy- so perfect for that summertime heat. And with tons of positive reviews, you know this product won’t disappoint.
However, it may not be an excellent match for the ones with highly warm or cool undertones as the base is kept quite neutral for the shade range.
7. Milani glow hydrating skin tint
Want to try something extraordinary? I bet you’ll be disappointed with this almost Glossier skin tint dupe! This baby provides light coverage for a natural-looking glow in just a few swipes and won’t break the bank.
Forget shelling out $26 for the Glossier stuff; this skin tint from Milani offers the same effects — combining skincare (mind you, it has 29% squalane in it) with makeup — for about half of the price. On top of that, you don’t have to sacrifice quality.
The best part? You won’t have to worry about a cakey finish or potential breakouts since it’s created with premium ingredients like electrolyte and coconut water, specifically designed to hydrate and protect your skin’s natural barrier without feeling heavy on your face. Oh, it’s vegan and cruelty-free as well!
My personal favorite glossier skin tint dupe has to be…
Hands down, The Ordinary serum foundation. It is jam-packed with nuts and oils and feels just like your skin but better on the face. The price is unbelievable as well! That said, all the other recommendations are just as good (even better).
And if you’d like more Glossier dupes, here are the best ones, as always. Till then, toodles! xo
